Because I am in I.T., I am able to follow technical instructions on unlocking. Would you sell me instructions and code to unlock the Samsung Omnia II for a fee without me sending the phone to you? Thank you.

Does anyone know how to change APN settings so it will work with Rogers?
February 24th, 2010 on 10:37 am
To change the APN (Internet Settings)
You need to download a Registry Editing program like: PHM or Resco
1-Open Registry Editor
2-Goto: HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Destinations\My Internet
3-Change Readonly from: 1 to 0
You can go Back-Up the directory and change everything else like:
My ISP
My Connection: Readonly from 1 to 0
You should then be able to Edit the Bell APN Setting.
-Goto: Setting > Click the Advanced Tab
-Click Connection then Connections
-Under “My Internet” click manage my internet connections
-Edit Bell-Internet, change to Rogers etc..
-For Rogers the Access Point name is: internet.com
-Click Finish
-Click OK

Good information. Today I just got a Samsung Omnia SCH-i910 inside mail from ebay, and it currently would seem that it’s at stock settings for the Verizon Network. I prepare to use this phone on Metro PCS. I also desire to place Windows Mobile 6.5 on here, but I’m not sure which purchase I really should do this in. Should I acquire it to Metro PCS as is and have it activated, and be able to afterwards flash the ROM with 6.five? Or ought to I modify the ROM very first after which acquire it to Metro PCS? I’ve been browsing close to and I’m unable to discover the solution to this.
