@ALGAr: Unlocking this phone will only allow you to use a different SIM Card (ie: SIM from a different Country or Different Company). Unlocking doesn’t give the phone extra features it isn’t capable of.

Good information. Today I just got a Samsung Omnia SCH-i910 inside mail from ebay, and it currently would seem that it’s at stock settings for the Verizon Network. I prepare to use this phone on Metro PCS. I also desire to place Windows Mobile 6.5 on here, but I’m not sure which purchase I really should do this in. Should I acquire it to Metro PCS as is and have it activated, and be able to afterwards flash the ROM with 6.five? Or ought to I modify the ROM very first after which acquire it to Metro PCS? I’ve been browsing close to and I’m unable to discover the solution to this.

Hi I have this phone at the moment. I want to get it unlocked but before I do, would you mind telling me the specific changes I will have? Will I get wi-fi connection or anything like that? I have a fido contract so I’m not sure what it is that they ‘took away’ per se from the original phone. thank you.
